Raymond is a really sweet guy. I will never want to hurt his feelings. He’s even treated me to a stick of satay during our recent travel together.

The photo below was snapped just after Raymond helped a widow fix a ratty old cupboard. With a hammer and a nail. I think he pierced her heart.

So why did I do such a cruel thing to such a kind soul? It is complicated.
During our travel, we snapped many photos. I promised Raymond I will copy the photos into a CD and post it to him. But I had trouble copying the photos.
I messaged Raymond and asked if we could meet in person. I will bring my thumbdrive, he will bring his laptop, it will all work out in the end.
Raymond agreed and we were about to step out of the house to meet except for one small issue.
On Saturday, Nic had spent the day persuading me to watch Hellboy 2: The Golden Army but I wasn’t keen so he kindly agreed to watch Hancock. Hancock was cool, we laughed ourselves silly. The cinema was packed and the security officer said it’s because every one’s out to watch Red Cliff.
On Sunday, Nic told me he had bought a ticket to watch Hellboy 2: The Golden Army at 9:45pm but only one ticket since I wasn’t keen. Which wasn’t weird because I’ve gone for movies alone.
Sunday 9:40pm, Raymond and I were about to step out of the house when Nic called. He said, “Are you ready? The movie is starting in minutes! You didn’t really expect me to catch it without you, did you?”
GOSH!
I quickly messaged Raymond to cancel and rushed to Princess Cinema in Bedok. Where we watched Red Cliff, Part I, which is better than Hancock and thankfully not Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. But not a good enough reason to leave Raymond hanging in the dark.
So, I’m sorry. It is complicated!

I finally met up with Raymond at Burger King near the Simei MRT Station.
He is really the epitome of patience of kindness. He helped to extract the photos, sent me off with some new ones and even walked me all the way back to the MRT. He was so good-spirited the whole time, he never once complained.
Made me feel even worse for all the trouble I have caused this man! lol
