Two Girls Fight over Flowers on Valentine’s Day

It was a little embarrassing. He walked in with a bouquet of flowers, I straightaway assumed it was for me.

I smiled adoringly, grabbed the flowers excitedly. I sniffed it, oohed and aahed at it, did the whole dance routine.

But he pulled it from my hands and handed it to her! I was livid.

Oh but she loved it! She acted just like the evil Mara in Mara’s Playground, silently snatching away another’s sense of self-worth.

I couldn’t take anymore of her smugness so I grabbed her waist and pried her from the flowers that ought to be mine.

She refused to let go without a fight! She tried to wriggle her way out, but I was stronger than her. She is just a poverty-strickened soul addicted to the delicious fragrance of winning at every game.

Huff! Who needs flowers on Valentine’s Day anyway.

    LOL… that’s why I have hamsters instead of dogs. They’re always locked in the cage :) No need to fight over anything! :twisted:

    lovely flowers. i love tulips too. i’ve always liked pink tulips, but wow, these purple ones really take my breath away!

    Daphne, I haven’t seen you for sooo long! *hugs*

    Kero used to be Carol, but then a close friend started dating a human Carol. We had to be a bit more inventive with our pronunciation so that the two won’t be confused. :grin:
