If I were to treat Nic the way I treat Kero, his life will be so easy.
I will clip his toenails for him and insist that he bathes only once a week.
I will be the sole breadwinner, he can eat and drink at my expense for free.
When I’m busy winning the bread, he can lazily curl up on my lap to rest.
When I have more time to spare, he can be chauffeured to his favorite playground - either the East Coast Park or the Botanical Garden, to play.
The only thing he needs to do is act like he’s always thrilled to see me, even when I’m down with flu and my nose is aglow and my eyes puffed up or when I haven’t bothered to put on any make up.
Do you think Nic will adore me if I treat him like a dog?
