It’s my last day in Seoul so I’m going shopping! I took a taxi to Dongdaemun Market which has 26 shopping malls with over 30,000 shops from over 50,000 manufacturers.
Since it is autumn/winter, almost all the clothes are furry but if you look hard enough, you can find some gems that are wearable in our tropical weather.
Accessories

I love the bold glittery colors of these clutches. Check out the animal-print shoes in the background. You’ll have to be the fearless creative type to wear them well.
Embroidered Denim

Mickey Mouse embroidery on a pair of jeans.
I think these are cute but the faded denim looks too masculine. I like being a woman and dressing like a gurl.
Kitchen Things

Shop in Korea to stock up your kitchen.
Lingerie

*blush* I have no one to wear them for. So… just looking lah. Haha
Mobile Phone Decorating Service

The signboard says Hand Phone Tuning Shop. Just leave your mobile phone here and they’ll stick crystals on them for you so it looks like the ones below. You can also send them your Ipods.

Garter Belt Fashion

I noticed that almost all the mannequins here wear a pink garter belt on the upper left thigh. While the lace is pretty, wearing a skirt that reveals your panties every time you bend down is not so I won’t be wearing them.
High-Waisted Skirts

Omigosh, I love high-waisted but… these skirts seem to stop at the exact same place where your panties end. A bit too short for me, it even looks like they’ve wrongly hitched the skirt up too high. Sorry.
Flower Girl Dress

Of all that I had seen today, this have got to be the cutest of all. A flower girl dress in traditional Korean Han Bok style. This is from a wedding shop on the top floor of the Doota Mall. See pic of the wedding shop below.

BB Creams
Click on the image to view it in full size so you can see the brands and prices
BB Cream is a new invention that’s sweeping Korea by storm. Apparently, all the celebrities are using it as a make up foundation. It was originally designed to nourish the skin after a harsh laser resurfacing surgery.
I know about it because even the Singaporeans and Malaysians are talking about it. Just google BB Cream and you’ll find lots of positive reviews raving how the product makes your skin feel soft and silky after only a day of wearing.
I can’t figure out what’s the secret ingredient or formulation since it is all in Korean. In the end, I bought a tube of Etude for my Sister-in-Law since this is the only brand I recognize.

The dress is so pretty, isn’t it? Gosh… don’t you wish your SIL had a little girl for her second child instead of another boy? Hehehe… I hope to be able to pass you the BB Cream soon.
