The Bat Hits The Fan
It was past midnight and outside, a gentle wind was blowing. The glass sliding door was left open to let in a little breeze. A black winged creature flew in, circled the room and PIAK! hit the ceiling fan which was at full-speed.

I peered at it closely and saw it limply lift a wing. It is alive! I expected to see it slowly lift up both wings and with a flap, fly off into the night. But 3 hours later, it was still there as though it was asleep.
I blew my breath at it and saw it lift a wing again. It looked like a drowning man waving for help. I picked it up with a piece of paper and brought it out. To my surprise, I saw a lone bat circling the dark sky. Was that his friend looking for him? I placed him on a pillar and prayed that it would live.
The next day, I checked the pillar and there wasn’t any dead bat body. Either it had evaporated or it had managed to lift both wings. :)
