I starved Kero, my favorite pet dog :(

Since I’ve signed up for the Women 10K Run, Kero and I went to the East Coast Park to train for the run.

We were so happy to be heading to the beach.

My Favorite Pet

Whenever I’m about to travel to Singapore, I’ll start bugging Nic about Kero. I’ll always ask him “How is Kero?”, and he’ll tell me if she’s been naughty or nice. Kero is one of the main reason I look forward to Singapore.

Here’s Kero peeking at me from the edge of the bed, looking ever so bashful and shy. Don’t you think Kero has the most beautiful eyes in the world? I think she’s prettier than Flame, my Cocker Spaniel.

Here’s Kero on the bed with an inviting look in her eyes. I know she’s hoping I’ll join her.

So I did! I joined her and we camwhored together. Here’s Kero and I looking to the left.

Who’s that in front of you Kero? Do you trust her?

Here’s Kero and I looking at the camera. The lazy bugger wouldn’t even budge her head up for the camera.

After having so much fun, Nic and I decided to bring her to East Coast Park. Here she is in the car, stuck between my legs, looking ever so excited!.

Can you see how thrilled she is to be going out? What a treat!

Unfortunately, after every holiday to East Coast Park, Kero have to be subjected to a shower.

Now she’s glum because she’s all cold and wet and her hair has gone curly on her.

One Random Fact About Precious!

I’m supposed to write a whole chunk of eight random facts, but I think this one random fact about me will be enough to stun you for a while

In Singapore, if you stay in an HDB, you are only allowed to keep one dog at home. If you stay in a size-able landed house, you are allowed to keep three dogs. So how is it possible that Precious have a total of five dogs?! Well, here’s a little bit of random fact about each so you’ll know how.

This is Dino, my German Shepherd Guard Dog from the Philippines. Thanks to his strict training, he is the most obedient of all my dogs. Have a look at his adorable puppy training photos! Dino makes me laugh because whenever I am in the study blogging away, he will poke his head through the open window and whine to be let in! He stays at my home in Melaka, Malaysia.

Dino’s mum is Bona Belicakova Chovu, “a medium-build ballistic Slovakian bitch with a lust for work whose offsprings are groomed for security work abroad.” and his dad is Bojar z Javarove Zahrady, “a sharp and civild dog. He is like a switch that you can turn on and off and his profection is explosive, fast and STRONG. He does not allow incursions to his owner’s property or vehicles.”

In case you are thinking of intruding, think of his bloodline, lol!

Kylie is the most stubborn dog I’ve ever had. Although she is affectionate, she insists that you go over to her rather than she comes to you. She refuses to stay still to be photographed, neither will she care if you ask her to sit, stand, splat, et cetera. Like any other Labrador Retriever, Kylie loves to swim in the four feet deep pond. Kylie lives with Dino at my home in Melaka.

Flame is a beauty queen of international standing. It’s no wonder she’s won awards, her daddy is American while her mummy is Korean. Before she was conceived, genetic tests were done on her mum and dad to make sure they will produce award-winning kids.

To be honest, Flame came into our life only a year ago because her original master could no longer afford the time to groom her daily. He chose our family to receive her because we could do that and we feed all our dogs a raw meat diet.

In Melaka, Flame continues to live like a beauty queen. She is the only one who sleeps on polished marble floor and she refuses to befriend Dino and Kylie. She doesn’t like it when intrude her personal space either. She needs her privacy and will seek us out for a pet as and when she needs one.

Meanwhile, in Singapore, my first pet dog is Kero who is a mix-breed Miniature Schnauzer X Jack Russell Terrier. She is incredibly intelligent, she understands all our instructions, even words that we’ve never used before. I believe she is gifted at guessing what we meant her to do.

Kero loves anything that’s soft and cuddly. She loves to snuggle on pillows, teddy bears and my thighs, lol!

Nic’s sister adopted Kero from the florist at the Bedok market. If you’re looking for a similar dog, the florist have a few more to give away.

After Nic’s sister married, she moved to Bukit Panjang and bought a Shih Tzu (I think he’s a Shih Tzu) for a pet. We discovered that Bobbi would pick up all sorts of dirt on his long fur so he gets shaved bald all the time. Bobbi’s a big icky because his short nose does not adequately protect his eyes, so he’d get excrete mucous from his big brown eyes.

Bobbi makes me laugh because he is so afraid of thunder. Whenever it rains, he’d hide under the bed or in the bathroom even though he gets himself all drenched there.

There you go, that’s all five of my pet dogs. I don’t actually own any of them, but since I enjoy their friendship, I consider all of them my beloved pets. This is from the 8 random facts meme tagged on me by Stephanie.
