I feel so proud of her! Now I can understand why in some countries, this would have called for a celebration. Of course it was our maid who first discovered.
What happened was that Flame had been invited to a party. Thanks to her beauty queen status, she gets invited to quite a lot of parties. A lot more than me 
But the maid said, “Flame can not go to the party.”
“Why not?” I began to argue. Sometimes, she thinks she’s the boss. Zzz.
“Flame can not go to the party,” she repeated. “She just got her period.”
My eyes almost fell out of its sockets. “Flame got her period?”
“Wow…”
I didn’t know what else to say. She is growing up so quickly. I feel so proud and so in awe and so sad at the same time.
You’re a big girl now Flame. Time to find a life partner?
