Cher to replace Celine Dion at Caesar’s Palace

Cher has always been known as the bad girl of rock and roll. Critiques don’t quite know where to put her. Cher herself admits, “singers don’t consider me a singer and actors don’t consider me an actor.” Cher is the woman who covered her body with tattoos long before it became fashionable among women in Hollywood.

On the other hand, Celine Dion grew up in a happy roman catholic home. No one will ever dispute that Celine Dion is an accomplished singer. After undergoing fertility treatments, Celine gave birth to a baby boy and released Miracle, an album described as “saturated with lullabies and other songs of maternal love and inspiration.”

In 2002 Dion signed a three-year, 600-show contract to appear five nights a week in an entertainment extravaganza, A New Day, at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. This was seen as “one of the smartest business decisions in years by any major recording artist.” In 2008, Celine Dion decided to quit this.

Guess who is taking over Celine Dion at Caesar’s Palace? That’s right folks, you can now buy tickets to see Cher in Las Vegas!
