Evil Detox Foot Bath
HOW have you been?! Boy I miss you, my blogging buds.
I’ve been standing on my feet for long hours to help out in the busy school uniform sale season. One night, as I was traveling home after the sale, the lady boss invited me to join her for either a foot massage or a negative ion detox foot bath.
I have experienced the foot massage before and I can tell you it is teeth-grittingly painful, so I chose what I thought would be the lesser of two evils. Soaking my tired feet in a tub of warm water can’t be that bad.
Ho, was I wrong.

Firstly, they stuck two tapes to my back which sent electric pulses through my body. I twitched and shook for the entire half hour and had to grit my teeth to keep from screaming out loud each time I was mildly electrocuted.
Secondly, the black machine in the water started spewing out the most disgusting turd-colored flakes. It didn’t even look like mud. It looked like rust. For half an hour, I had to allow my feet to soak in the most disgusting liquid. I shut my eyes and tried to look like I was totally relaxed even though I was doing my best to focus on keeping my mouth close so I won’t scream out loud or vomit.
The lady who operates the detox parlor explained how she had difficulty getting a steady stream of clients in the beginning. One wonders why…
oh! I seen this before. So got detox and feeling relax after that?

Steph, just knowing that the treatment is over is such a relaxing feeling. May be that’s the whole point of it. lol!
What!? Is it even legal? Does it work? So many questions hehe… but it just sounds too painful to be worth it. It’s like torture!

Sigh I don’t know if it’s legal or not.
I just know that its promise of being able to detoxify me smells really fishy.
