I went to the Samsung showroom at Vivocity for a chance to touch the new Samsung Omnia with my very own hands. But there was such a long queue that even the line to purchase movie tickets at the cinema next door was moving ahead faster than the line to touch the Samsung Omnia!

“Gosh, what can the phone do?” I loudly joked. “Replace my brain?!”
But the people in the queue ahead of me didn’t laugh and didn’t get the hint so I never got a chance to leave my fingerprints all over this sleek new gadget. The huge interest in it intrigued me though.
The moment I got home I powered up the computer to google Samsung Omnia. And what do you know? It turned out my joke is not too far from the truth.

The Samsung Omnia is a pretty clever mini-machine. Personally, I would love to use it to download and read ebooks.
With over 100,000 ebooks available in text format at Project Gutenberg, I will never need to store any knowledge in my brain again. I can pretty much forget everything I have ever learned in life and just search for the information online at anywhere and anytime.

I can even access Manual of Surgery Volume First: General Surgery. Sixth Edition. by Miles and Thomson and become an impromptu surgeon in emergencies! Okay, just kidding about this part. But you know what I mean.

With the Samsung Omnia in my pocket, I will never be lost.

Yup this fellow is great. But to think of touchscreen sometimes is quite troublesome especially when you wanted to use it while you’re driving (I know it’s against the law) but if you insist to use it while driving, god bless you.

I like your Title! It seems that the more gadgets we have the less we use our brains! Example is the tiny calculator! Many folks do not know how to do simple mental arithmetics now without using the calculator!

You are right! I have lost my ability to calculate the more complicated sums in my head.
Strangely, I haven’t lost my ability to calculate after discounted prices for sale items though. *grin*
