I’m not very good at being a friend.
To tell you the truth, most of what I learned about being a friend, I learned from my pets. It may sound insulting, but they did show me brave loyalty, patient listening ears, forgetfulness and most important of all, forgiveness.
And after all these years, my pets are still better at being a friend than I am. Oh dear!
Isn’t this beautiful? To me it is obvious that this is drop dead gorgeous.
Yet not every one I know thinks this is beautiful. Some expects it to be beautiful and takes the beauty for granted. Some are too stressed to notice it is beautiful. Some simply don’t think it is an efficient use of the sky.
When I was a kid, what I loved most was to run to my dad when he comes home from work. Daddy will catch me with his hands and swing me in the air!
May be that’s why I was never afraid of roller coasters or any of those adrenaline-charged activities. 
Throughout my growing up years, Dad would constantly turn to me and tell me I am his Precious Daughter. I never had any reason to doubt his love.
A few months ago, Nic had the chance to fly to India. He came back with two gorgeous saris so that I can match his turban. 
I’ve sent one to be tailored, the other one is still wrapped in soft tissue. One day, it will be made into floor-sweeping dress…

Every one who knows any one in the blogosphere knows that Rinaz, winner of the Ping.Sg Most Entertaining Post and winner of the Waggener-Edstrom Post of the Year 2008 
is sexy.
That is an indisputable fact.
During the Ping.Sg party, even Rinaz herself unabashedly admits she is sexy. Tsk tsk.
But does anyone know what is going on between Rinaz and a certain MrMalique? *raise eyebrow*

It was going to be another five-hour bus ride but this time I was prepared. I had brought a reading light to read my book.
The sun always sets about two hours into the journey. Without the light, I will be staring at nothingness so I am really thankful to have this light.
But imagine my surprise when I arrived home and saw these in my room - shoes, shoes and more shoes!
Phil from HP who brought the biggest birthday present for Ping.Sg’s birthday party, complimented us for our creative stories. Thus, I shall present the Ping.Sg’s 2nd birthday in a series of mini stories.
After registering, we had some time to linger and try out the new laptops that comes with the Intel Centrino 2 Montevina.
Don’t ask me why there is a picture of a kettle next to the NEC one.
To be honest, when I was first invited to the launch of the Intel Montevina processor chip, I wondered how this was going to be presented.
After all, the Montevina is not a slice of cheesecake that we can taste and um our approval. This is a tiny tiny chip that’s invisibly embedded inside laptop computers.
So I thought, may be we will be gathered to sit in a circle while the chip is passed around. When it lands in my hands, I will stare and pretend to be able to see exactly what’s inside that’s made this chip so valuable. I’ll even discreetly stifle a shocked gasp.
And I thought, I’m sure they’re not going to pass the Montevina around in a simple petri dish. Perhaps they will gently place it in a beautiful little parcel. When the gong strikes, the CEO will tug at the ribbon that’s holding it together and let it fall.
