When I was a kid, what I loved most was to run to my dad when he comes home from work. Daddy will catch me with his hands and swing me in the air!
May be that’s why I was never afraid of roller coasters or any of those adrenaline-charged activities.
Throughout my growing up years, Dad would constantly turn to me and tell me I am his Precious Daughter. I never had any reason to doubt his love.

As we grew older, Dad got busier at work. His company couldn’t possibly release him to spend more time with his family. Every year, we would go for a family vacation and we will bond again. We would swim in waterfalls, snorkel in emerald seas and hook worms on rods to fish.
I think Dad felt torn apart during this busy season because he couldn’t possibly not work, yet he felt guilty that he couldn’t be with his beloved family more often.
When I was a teen, I almost lost my precious life. I went into an anaphylactic shock after being stung by a vicious hornet. It was my dad’s strong hands that carried me up flights of stairs to get to the hospital’s ICU. In the helter-skelter, we made it just in time as I was already slipping into a coma.
When I was a young adult, I discovered a shocking revelation. That on top of my beloved father, I have another dad! My heavenly Dad started revealing His love for me and just like my earthly father, He too says I am Precious in His eyes.
In life, due to human mistakes, not every one gets a chance to know a dad as loving and committed as mine. But in spite of our mistakes, we can still know a heavenly Dad who is incapable of making mistakes. He is God and you are Precious to Him.
