My beautiful sari!

A few months ago, Nic had the chance to fly to India. He came back with two gorgeous saris so that I can match his turban. :D

I’ve sent one to be tailored, the other one is still wrapped in soft tissue. One day, it will be made into floor-sweeping dress…

Can you tell I feel very uncomfortable at this moment?!

That’s because there are three women staring at me. My mum, the tailor and her daughter. All looking on approvingly. Haha!

I still need to learn how to wear this though. At the tailor’s house, this was hurriedly wrapped around as the tailor needed to rush off to pick her son up from school.

I didn’t notice that the beautiful material is lightly covered with fine gold dust. After taking it off, I saw the gold sparkles on my skin.

Now I’m gonna spend the next few hours watching “How to Wear a Sari” instructional videos on YouTube.
