My Dad
Last year, my dad sponsored me for a holiday to China with him. It was a rare opportunity for this father and daughter pair to hang out for a few days. Almost throughout my pre-teen, teenage and young adult days, Dad have had to travel for work regularly.

We never resented that life arrangement. In fact, we easily accepted it as children would and continued on with school, tuition, homework, dating and various other activities.

It did get to a point that I felt awkward with him. When Dad was home and asked how was my day, I couldn’t think of what to say.

All too soon, time have past.
It is not easy to continue a conversation that was cut off years ago, pre-teen. If I were to answer Dad’s question today about how was my day, I would say today, I was blessed beyond belief.
My dad don’t ever have to do anything to impress me. He is already my dad which means he is the head of our little family.

And it is God’s pleasure and my delight to honor my precious Mom and Dad no matter what they have done or where they have been.
