I almost didn’t pay for my meal at Singapore’s Old Town White Coffee Restaurant at East Coast Park, and no one noticed.
Last night, Nic and I went for a lovely dinner at Old Town White Coffee in East Coast Park, one of my favorite places to dine in Singapore. As soon as we arrived, life began to slow down by a few notches…

The Rendang Ayam that we had floored me. Even without the chicken, the coconut milk rice it came with is a worthy crunch on its own. It was a wonderfully enjoyable time with my favorite person on earth. =)
After dinner, we casually walked out to the car. Just before we got in, I lazily commented,
“I didn’t see you pay for the meal. The waiter came and left very quickly, is it?”
He said, “Eee… yeah,”
*pause*
Then his eyes widened and he said,
“Youknowwhat-Ithinkweforgottopay!”
So, we rushed back in and paid.

The End.
