Last night, Nic and I were in Plaza Singapura. By the time we could eat, the only restaurant still open was Cafe Cartel.
I love eating here because they serve the most scrumptious bread in Singapore. I asked Nic not to order too much because I wanted to stuff my face with fresh-out-of-oven bread and not much else.
Nic got us one set of pork ribs and one plate of spicy pasta.

I asked the waitress if there’s student price. She wanted to know why would we ask such a question. Now why would the waitress ask us why would we ask such a question?
We got $1.39 off the $13.90 pasta with the student card.

But there is a 10% student discount. We got $1.39 off the $13.90 pasta. Sorry I didn’t write that clearly, my bad.
First of all why u ask whether got student discount or not? U mean you already know if you flash student card you will get 10% discount?

Steph: The last time we dined at Cafe Cartel, they were having a promotion where students who dine before 5pm gets 50% off the bill. We took advantage of it then because it was about 4:30pm and Nic’s a student of RMIT.
This time, I asked just to try my luck and true enough, students get 10% off everything except pork ribs.
