I’ve finally finished watching the complete first season of Brothers & Sisters!

In the last episode, Nora’s teacher taught her it is not the multitude of events that people are interested in but rather the emotions beneath each incident.

What an insight!

In my blog writing, I chalk down the events but shyly avoid expressing emotions as I do not like feeling vulnerable and exposed. But just like the tent collapsing at your own wedding over your guests, sometimes you can’t control it all.

Recently, a lot of my friends have had to move houses thanks to the sudden skyrocketing of property prices. Each of them told us of the move in emotionless tone, as though it was simply a fact of life or a practical decision they’ve made.

However, I am sure an avalanche of emotions precede and follow the move.

For some, it is a joyous occassion to celebrate new-found wings. For others, it is a despairing loss of an old vision and dream.
