Baby Hui Wen’s no longer a baby
Remember this sweet li’l girl? I mean the one on the right. She was a tiny little thing when she came as an invited guest to my brother’s wedding last September.

And now, she’s all grown up. She has discovered the freedom of walking and the whole world is her playground. When I met her again yesterday, she was busy, busy, busy, toddling all over the neighbourhood in her padded squeak shoes.

Not only is she excited to get her first taste of beer (hey whose fingers are those handing her the beer?), she’s also a big sister! Her teeny tiny brother was born less than a month ago and yesterday, there was a huge party to celebrate his safe arrival at Planet Earth.

Since it is such a joyous occasion and all the neighbors are invited anyway, nobody minded that the whole street was blocked for the dinner party. Meanwhile, the baby boy was sleeping…

He was completely oblivious to the crowd of partygoers at his doorstep, celebrating him.
