Another friend is moving to Singapore and have rented a room for SG$550.00 at Pasir Ris. I told him if I were to move to Singapore, I’ll rent a 3 bedroom and 2 baths home at Seletar Camp for $1500.
I know most people think my idea doesn’t make sense because Seletar is like the Amazon rainforest of Singapore. Public transport is not as convenient so you’ll have to get a thirsty fuel-guzzler i.e. a car.
Well, I don’t like the idea of getting an auto loan to buy a car either so I thought, may be I’ll get a bicycle and use it for grocery shopping. Other than that, I won’t go out all that much. Since Seletar is an exotic place, I’m sure lots of people will want to swing by for a visit. Besides, I can always hang out with friends online.
Is my idea brilliant or what?
