A few days ago, I was out shopping with a friend. We saw many things that are not available back home so we drooled. I got a spanking new pair of trekking shoes. =)
Who is your best friend? Mine is definitely Dino the German Shepherd Guard Dog. I truly believe that animals are specially created to be our companions and although I have many pet dogs which I enjoy very much, Dino is the one who tries hardest to be good. He’s touched my heart.
In Chengdu, I was thrilled that a child is discovering the kind of blindly loyal friendship that you can only get from animals. A little boy from the village had just given the little boy from the city (in grey jacket with blue words) a new born pup!
Dino the German Shepherd was walking the plank again (refer to the photo in my previous post) when the plank shook and his hind leg slipped off the plank. His whole body slipped down with him and with his his front paws, he desperately clawed the plank!
He was hanging between the water and the blue sky and he started to cry. We rushed to see what he was crying about, when we saw, we stopped to laugh. Instead of helping him, the construction workers tipped the plank and off he fell into the water with a big, loud SPLASH! (more…)
Eeek!
We came back from a tour of the tiles factory excited and happy, but the moment we reached home, we were told about the robbery.
Just moments after we had left, a daring thief walked into our house and stole a valuable construction equipment. He did it in bright daylight at about 11:00am in the morning.
When the thief came in, he was bold enough to acknowledge a construction worker and compliment the good work. The construction worker didn’t think he might be a thief as there had been a steady stream of strangers walking in and out of the house lately. The electrician, the plumber, the termite controller, et cetera, had all visited.
But that’s not the worst thing. Worst news is that the construction company is making their six workers who are only paid a few hundred a month pay RM300 each for it. That’s about two weeks of backbreaking labor.
That is called injustice.
Morey’s Piers is a great place for a New Jersey Vacation. There are many things to do in New Jersey because it is the largest amusement park operator with approximately 89 rides, 90 concessions and two beachfront New Jersey waterparks.

The house renovation is moving ahead speedily which makes it very exciting. Every day that you walk out, you’ll see new progress. All the new rooms are already up although they are not yet ready.
On Monday, the interior designer brought us out to select all the tiles we’ll need. These are the crowd favorite:-
They can be lasered in any shape to create your desired pattern. You can even form words on the floor.
Before we went, my brother and his wife already had their hearts set on a dark grey and bright white theme. When I saw this photo in one of the tiles factory, I was thrilled to bits as the layout of their private bathroom is similar to this picture - with large glass windows overlooking a lush garden.
We chose from hundreds of tiles design and left the factories as bright as sunshine. Looking forward to the renovation completion in July.
